Welcome to Watches2U
The time has come for the fastest man in the world to retire.
Usain Bolt ran his last 100m race at the weekend at the IAA World Championships in London. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to add another gold to his medal list before hanging up his running shoes.
Bolt’s accomplishments are truly impressive and all achieved before he turned 30 last year. Completing in his final Olympics last year allowed him to gain his 9th gold medal of the games. Add that to his with 3 World Records, 4 Laureus World Sports Awards, and 11 World Championships, he certainly earns his fastest man title.
The remarkable sprinter is supported by many fans and many brands. Puma are the lucky creators of his sports attire and very important running shoes.
They have also paired up with the Olympian in designing a pair of visor style sunglasses.
The eye catching (excuse the pun) element of these sunglasses are the lenses. The semi rimless frame offers protection without restriction. The lense colour of these sports shades are gold to, no doubt, honor the wins of Usain. There is an interchangeable option of some black lenses if the gold is a bit flashy.
The mirror style lenses merge with a bridge pad, 14mm wide and adaptable, and a propion frame. The mainly black frame is decorated with Puma’s logo and a golden UB.
The decoration on the frame does not distract from the wraparound style that allows for comfortable and secure wear even if running the 100 metres at 9.58 seconds. The temple length of the frame is 128mm with a curved finish.
Usain’s signature, seen on the inside of the frame, is the unique finish to these impressive sunglasses.
The PU0001S-007 shades are available now on our sister site ChrisElli here.
Watch brand Hublot also honor the world class athlete with a watch holding his signature Lightning Bolt pose and Jamaican flag colours.
