I purchased my BBH101 about 4years ago when you had the choice of either a heavy duty rubber strap or a stainless steel strap. I went for the rubber strap option because the watch is 200m water resistant and I wanted it for scuba-diving. I was suprised at the fantastic quality of my purchase when it arrived considering the price that I had paid for it. it is pure quality.
My late grandfather was a watchmaker and was working at his trade when analogue quartz watches came on the scene, and I remember to this day , him telling me that you can tell a good watch quartz watch movement and the assembly of the watch, by the position that the sweep second hand lands as it rotates the watch face. It should always land covering the second marker between the numbers or the number markers, and this watch does just that..
The time keeping is second to none and is just what you would expect from a watch with a SEIKO MOVEMENT driving it.
