Accurist is a British brand of watches that were the creation of Asher and Rebecca Loftus who wanted to create a quality brand of watches at competitive prices. The first Accurist watches were manufactured from only Swiss parts and this helped to establish the Accurist brand name as a quality brand with a great reputation for value.

During the 1960's Accurist realised that the way forward in the watch industry was to create watches as more of a fashion accessory rather than just as a means of telling the time and they created the range of Old England watches which took the fashion world by storm with many celebrity wearers and huge worldwide sales.

By the 1970's Accurist were at the forefront of new watch technology developing watches with quartz movements as well as LED and LCD digital watches and later in the 70's they launched their famous TV advertising campaign with the famous slogan "Acc-your-wrist - Acc-your-ankle". Accurist were also sponsors of the speaking clock up until 2008.

Today Accurist create more modern timepieces which are more fitting of current trends and include ladies bangle and charm bracelet watches along with their main ranges of classic ladies and mens dress watches with round and rectangular dials and stainless steel or leather straps.
