Zippo Now Making More Watches as Smokers Decline

Zippo, the company famous for manufacturing and retailing smoking related products has recently launched a line of watches. It is thought that the move coincides with a downturn in the number of smokers worldwide which in turn has seen a fall in retail sales of smoking products over the last decade.

Zippo is famed for their windproof lighters and also for their metal flip top petrol lighters, many of which have even became collectors items over the years, in fact they even have a Zippo museum which is located in Pennsylvania USA.

The fall in the number of smokers and the influx of cheaper disposable lighters could be the reason why Zippo have taken a brand new direction and recently they have launched several new product lines. Along with the range of Zippo wrist watches they have also introduced Zippo pens and a range of Zippo ladies and mens bags.

The new range of Zippo watches were introduced worldwide at the end of March this year and are available in four different ranges, Casual, Dress, Sport and Work.
