Burg 5 Mobile Phone Wrist Watch Launched

Burg5 have released a snazzy mobile phone wrist watch which is now available in the UK, it's a colourful chunky quartz watch which doubles up as a handy mobile phone.

Simply slide in your own sim card into the side of the watch and you can make and receive calls instantly, and if you don't like the thought of talking to your watch then you can also use the hands free kit which is supplied.

The watch can be charged via a USB cable and when fully charged the talk time is around 3 - 6 hours. The watch battery is separate from the phone battery so you won't lose the time should the phone battery run down.

Some slight snags are that it will only allow storage of 6 numbers, not so good for the majority of people who have on average about 40 contacts on their phone, also it is not compatible with the 3 network.

The Burg 5 mobile phone watch is available in 5 different colours which include black, white, pink, orange and blue. With mobile technology advancing and the use of wireless communication over the internet via handheld devices such as iPods set to expand even further, the Burg 5 is more of a novelty than an actual piece of sophisticated hardware and works via GSM, but at only £99.99 it could well catch on.
