Sekonda to Sponsor Popstar to Operastar

Sekonda is to sponsor the new up and coming series of Popstar to Operastar, the celebrity reality TV program on ITV1 that sees popstars trying their hand at opera singing.

This years line up includes Andy Bell, the Erasure frontman, Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz fame, Midge Ure of Ultravox and 2010 X Factor winner Joe McElderry.

The show is co hosted by Mylene Klass and Alan Titchmarsh and last year members of the judging panel included Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Katherine Jenkins and Meat Loaf, however so far this year the members of the new judging panel have not been announced, but it is rumoured that last years winner Darius Danesh will be sitting on the new judging panel.

Popstar to Operastar will be screened on Sunday nights in a prime time slot starting on the 5th of June and there will also be a further results show later on the same evening.

During the breaks there will be short sponsor messages from Sekonda which will be used to promote the Sekonda Party Time range of watches, a range of plastic quartz watches which feature diamonte encrusted bezels and come in a range of bright and vivd colours.
