Fossil Watches Report Increase in Worldwide Sales

Fossil Inc, the watch manufacturer who makes wrist watches for many big brands including Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, DKNY, Adidas and Diesel as well as their own brand of Fossil watches reported an increase in first quarter sales yesterday with a combined increase of 55% in sales and a 37% increase in profits.

Over the last few years Fossil have continued to expand their range of products as well as increasing the manufacture of products under license to a growing number of designer brands not only through manufacturing watches but also jewellery such as in their partnership with Michael Kors.

In 2004 Fossil and Michael Kors joined together to introduce the range of Michael Kors watches and this partnership soon developed into a range of jewellery, announcing a further extension of the range in March this year.

Fossil continues to expand worldwide concentrating on adding more retail points of sale through not only opening more Fossil stores but also by adding retail outlets in established department stores such as the Fossil store in Selfridges in Oxford Street London.

The range of Fossil products now includes handbags, belts, wallets, accessories, clothing and Fossil jewellery.
