A recent feature in the Burton Mail showcased
Ballistic Watches as 'virtually bulletproof gems' and highlighted the fact that they are 'Super Tough' saying that 'the Ballistic range of watches are virtually bulletproof and can withstand being driven over by a truck and smacked with a hammer'.
The feature was written by Stephen Sinfield who went on to say that 'Despite this watch being built to survive the next Armageddon, it should not be overlooked as a casual or even formal dress watch'
The
Ballistic range of watches seems to go from strength to strength with new models being released periodically to keep up with the demand for more colours, styles and designs. The names of each sub range also reflect the watches strong properties with ranges such as the
Vortex,
Cyclone,
Extreme,
Typhoon and the latest range called the
Tornado.
The strength of Ballistic watches is based on the component parts and materials used and consist of a heavy duty leather or stainless steel strap with a sturdy butteryfly clasp which is held into the lugs by screws, a shatter resistant and scratch resistant crystal lens, a heavy duty case with a raised rubber protector and an internal shockproof module.
Each Ballistic watch comes supplied with its own rugged metal tin along with a full manufacturers 2 year warranty and instructions.
Mr. Sinfield said in the article that 'For once, good looks are not compromised in an effort to create a super tough watch' and said that Ballistic watches were ' Impressive on presentation and mind-blowing on performance'.
