The Swatch Group is the company behind some of the most recognised Swiss watch names in the watch industry like Omega, Tissot, Longines, Rado and of course Swatch and many more.

Swatch have been designing and manufacturing watches since 1983 and they led to the survival of the Swiss watch industry during the 1980's. Due to the competition from Japan Swatch innovated new technologies and world firsts including the world's thinnest watch using half the components normally required to manufacturer a watch, it became the biggest selling wristwatch of all time.

From the 007 Villain collection to the Chrono Plastic range there is no doubting Swatch's pedigree, they are over 30 years old and still designing and producing the world's most popular wristwatches, as well as innovating many world first's on the way; like the worlds thinnest watch and the smallest movements.

All Swatch wristwatches use aluminium, steel or plastic cases many of which are see-through, with plastic, rubber, steel or fabric bracelets and straps. All models use Swatch's in house reliable Swiss quartz movements, some of which are incredibly thin like the Swatch 'Die Another Day' watch from their 007 Villain collection.

The men's and boy's Swatch watches use steel, plastic, steel or Titanium cases with fabric, leather, steel, plastic, rubber or titanium straps and bracelets. Hardened mineral glass lenses protect the watch from knocks and most models have a stainless steel quick release battery cover easily seen on this: Swatch 'A View To A Kill' watch which is also from the 007 Villain collection.

I have not gone in too much detail with the ladies, men's or children's Swatch watch models because each design is unique in look and finish to all the other models.
