Some models have date features but other than that they are purely watches that tell you the time and nothing more.

Some models are cleverly designed with quirky ways of telling you the time; like the Philippe Starck O Ring watch and the Philippe Starck PH6000 watch. The Philippe Starck PH6000 watch has a minutes hand that does not turn from the usual central location of the dial, rather it rotates around and outer circular track leaving the Philippe Starck logo to turn from the centre as a minute hand.
