Why do I have to checkout?
We need your delivery address before you pay - if you don't use our
checkout we have nowhere to deliver your item. The checkout system
we are using brings a host of benefits to you including automated
calculation of postage discount, automated tracking number e-mail
when we despatch and an accurate hard copy invoice for your
purchase.

How do I get to the checkout?
Our checkout system is linked to the eBay checkout, so all you have
to do is follow the eBay checkout procedure.

I cannot access the checkout page at all - my computer screen says
"Page Not Found" or similar.
The checkout page relies on a session cookie in order to operate.
You may be unable to get the page to display or function correctly
if your computer won't accept cookies.
The easiest option is to try the checkout button on another
computer, but if this is not possible you can try to fix this
yourself - the following courses of action may help, but you are
warned that we are NOT responsible for any difficulties you have
with your computer's settings.
1. Delete your Temporary Internet Files.
2. Check that your web browsers security settings allow cookies.
3. Set Internet Explorer to "medium" security settings.
4. Check your firewall settings.
To perform options 1-3, from within Internet Explorer click
"options" from the tools menu.
It is, possible (if unlikely) that our checkout system is
experiencing difficulties so trying again in an hour is probably the
first and best course of action.

I'm bidding on more than one of your items - how do I get them sent
together with delivery discounted?
Firstly, wait until all the items you are bidding on have ended. The
checkout will automatically put all your ended items into a single
order and calculate the delivery charge based on the multiple
shipping prices on the items you have won. Please bear in mind that
not all of our items are eligible for delivery discount and the
checkout system will use the item with the biggest delivery cost
(i.e. the heaviest item) as the "first" item.
We have several user ID's on eBay - unfortunately it is NOT possible
to combine delivery on items bought from different ID's.
[Close Window]
What payment methods do you accept - can I use a different payment
method?
Every one of our listings displays the payment options that are
available. If it isn't there, we won't accept it. Our system is set
up to deal with large quantities of orders quickly and efficiently,
please do not bid if you are unable to pay using the payment options
on the listing.
[Close Window]
Can I pay you in Dollars?
Only if the listing is in that currency. We list under different
ID's so you have the ability to bid on items from us in your own
currency. We will not accept payments in any currency other than the
one that the item is listed in. PayPal can perform payments for you
in different currencies - if you need to know the exchange rate they
use the information is on the PayPal website.

Can you send me a PayPal Invoice?
No. PayPal payments must come though the Truition Checkout system.
We provide a hard copy invoice with your item.
[Close Window]
Are there any surcharges I should know about?
We do make a surcharge for direct credit/debit card payments through
our checkout (this does not affect PayPal payments made through a
card). All other accepted payment methods have no extra charges.

How will I know if I've paid?
This depends on the payment type. If you use PayPal or the card
payment option you will get an e-mail from PayPal or WorldPay
confirming that you have made a payment. Because we don't use the
eBay checkout system, eBay cannot confirm the payment status of your
order so the item being marked as paid on eBay does not constitute
proof of payment. Do NOT attempt to send PayPal payments without
going through the checkout system - we do not manually check for
payments in our PayPal account.
The checkout system automatically sends you a "thank-you"
e-mail when
it receives payment. This happens almost immediately after you pay
with PayPal or a card and is how you know when we have cleared your
cheque, received your Postal Order/Bank Transfer etc.

I think I paid twice!
This is highly unlikely, however, if your card/bank statement shows
two payments to us, contact us immediately via e-mail. Please include
all relevant information - which item number(s), how the payments
were made, the date of each payment and the exact amount of each
payment.

The checkout says the item may have been paid for - why?
The most common reason for this is the checkout expecting you to
send a cheque (or other offline payment). If the checkout is
expecting this type of payment and you would prefer to pay online
with PayPal or a credit/debit card, click the "change" link under
the payment type. This takes you back to the payment options screen
for your order.
UK buyers can get around this problem by sending us a cheque for the
order, but this option is not available to buyers outside the UK. We
will NOT accept cheques from customers outside the UK under any
circumstances.

The "continue checkout" button is greyed out and I can't click it!
This means the checkout is blocked. This could be because you are
attempting to checkout an item and have it delivered to a country we
will not deliver it to. We cannot ship items to locations if they
are not mentioned on the listing.
Alternatively, the system may have blocked the checkout because of
late payment - if this is the case contact us and we can set it to
allow you back in to complete the purchase.

How long after the auction closes do I have to send payment?
Payment should be received by us within 7 days of the item closing.
If you wish to pay for an item after 7 days have passed, please
contact us via e-mail, as we may still be happy to sell the product
to you.
Please bear in mind that we are not obliged to complete the sale
after the 7 days, so if the answer comes back no, it is no!

Will you leave me feedback?
Our system automatically reciprocates once you have left feedback
for us. Please wait until your item arrives!

What is your policy on unpaid items?
We have to take non-paying bidder offences seriously. We will file
unpaid item strikes against non-payers.
Do not e-mail us telling us that the bid was made by your dog, your
computer was abducted by aliens, or any other reason. We have heard
them all! At our discretion, we may agree to lift unpaid item
strikes if you agree to cover our listing fees.
[Close Window]
You've filed an unpaid item dispute against me, but I have paid!
Our system automatically starts the non-paying bidder process if no
payment is received within 7 days of items ending. Because cheques
take time to clear this can happen even if you sent the payment
within 7 days. Unpaid item disputes and unpaid item strikes can be
removed easily once payment is received - please e-mail us if this
happens.

Why won't you ship to my country?
If a listing does not state that the item can be shipped to your
country, then we cannot do it, simple as that. No exceptions.

Contacting us
Getting in touch with us is easy - if you chose to e-mail us please
include the item number and your user ID with the question so we
know which order you are referring to. The easiest way to ensure you
are doing this is to click the "ask seller a question" link on the
listing you are bidding on/have won. We aim to answer e-mail as
quickly as possible - all questions are answered within 24 hours.
You are welcome to call us on +44 (0)870 766 7654. Please make your
call between 10am and 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday. We do not answer
the telephone outside these hours. Please bare in mind we will
probably ask you if you have tried e-mailing us first!

Why haven't you replied to my e-mail?
As a matter of company policy, every e-mail that has a question in it
will be answered. If you get no response, either we didn't get your
e-mail, or you did not receive our reply. Many people have junk mail
filters today - please check to see if your e-mail software has
deleted/junked the response from us.
We DO NOT reply to
e-mails sent to us through the eBay system if you have ticked
the box to hide your e-mail address from us for security
reasons. There are a number of security holes within eBay itself
and Microsoft Internet Explorer which make clicking links in
e-mails dangerous. As fast as these security issues are fixed,
news ones spring up and we are unlikely to change this policy as
a result.
AOL occasionally block e-mail from entire ISP's. If you have an AOL
account there is not much we can do about this. They do not normally
block e-mail for periods longer than 24 hours, so try e-mailing again
the following day if your question goes unanswered. You may want to
consider getting an e-mail account with Hotmail or Yahoo if you have
difficulty receiving e-mail from non-AOL members.

Water resistance explained
Water resistance is measured in metres or ATMS. One ATM is
equivalent to 10 metres. If, for arguments sake, your watch is
marked as water resistant to 100 metres (10 ATMS) then it is suitable
for surface swimming, not diving/scuba diving. The 100 metres refers
to the water depth the watch can withstand under laboratory
conditions, not real life. This is true of ANY watch, not only those
sold by us. We do not recommend swimming wearing a watch if its' water
resistance is rated below 100 metres (10 ATMS).
Water resistant watches should be inspected every year by a
qualified jeweller and any worn out seals replaced. The water seals
should also be checked whenever the watch is opened - for instance
when having a new battery fitted.
Water resistance should never be confused with "water proof".
[Close Window]
Can I wear my watch in the bath/shower/sauna etc?
No - hot water can have a damaging effect on the seals used in your
watch that provide its' water resistance.

How do I reset the Chronograph on my Krug-Baumen/Claude Valentini
watch?
Pull the crown out to it's farthest position - on some models it
will need to be unscrewed in an anti-clockwise direction first.
Press the top button to set the large second hand, the lower button
to adjust the small chronograph dial. Once set, return the crown to
it's normal position, screwing back in if necessary to retain water
resistance.

How do I reset the Chronograph on my Klaus Kobec/Zeitner watch?
Press both the buttons simultaneously and release - the second hand
should perform a short (roughly 10 second) sweep. Press the top
button to adjust the large second hand, use the lower button to
adjust the the small chronograph dial. Once both are in the desired
position, press both buttons once more to set (the second hand will
perform a short sweep again). Start and stop the chronograph by
pressing the top button twice, and finally press the lower button to
reset. The hands should now return to the positions you set.

This is an example of what the checkout system looks like, and
what to expect. You are directed to this page after clicking the
"Pay Now" button which is on the listing you have won, and
within "My eBay". The first screen confirms the items you are
checking out:

Click "Checkout Items" to move on to
the address screen (the invoice address, and a separate delivery
address can be specified):

Please note: Due to restrictions with
the automated Royal Mail system we use, address fields are limited
to 30 characters (including spaces). The address screen also
performs postal code checks so please be sure your postcode is right
(a common mistake is to have a zero where a letter "O" should be and
vice versa).
Click "Continue" when you are happy the
address fields are correct.
The next screen is for shipping options
- if we have any alternatives available at extra cost (such as for a
next day service) you will see them here. Unfortunately, if no other
shipping options are displayed, they are not available for your
order.

Click "Continue" to get to the payment
options screen. Place a dot in the radio button next to your
preferred payment type. Please note, if it isn't displayed, it isn't
available!
Clicking "Place Order" will have a
different effect depending on the payment option selected:
For PayPal, you will be automatically
redirected to the PayPal website to make payment.
For card payments, the checkout will
attempt to process your payment through WorldPay right away.
For offline payments, instructions on
how to send the payment will be displayed.
